About

Welcome to my little website, here you can find updates on my climbing journey, marine science and other random thoughts.
I am a climber, scientist, engineer and skier based in Bergen, Norway. I compete for the Norwegian national climbing team in the para category AL-2 (lower leg amputee) and aim to qualify for the 2028 LA Paralympic games.
My work as a scientist concerns the interplay of physics and biology in the polar oceans. I currently focus on observational oceanography and using active (SONAR) and passive acoustics (hydrophones) to monitor the interaction between the Southern Ocean ecosystem and krill fisheries. I have experience with the analysis of data from acoustic Doppler current profilers, CTDs, echosounders and sound recorders, mounted on research vessels, moorings, floats and drones.
