Innsbruck World Series 2026 - back to finals finally!

Innsbruck has a special place in my heart. It's the epicenter of hard comp climbing and has amazing mountains and nature around, plus some rather nice food and bakeries. The World Cup here is always the best on the circuit doe to the good vibes, amazing gym and potential for outdoor climbing and mountain sports in the area.

This year we drove there together with the dogs and visited friends and family underway. My main goal for the comp was to focus on the experience, be present in the moment and give my best effort climbing and not stressing about making finals or not.

That worked out well and I suddenly found my self not only in finals but also on 3rd place, with only a sloper that I hit too low in the way of further progress. What a great motivation boost, thanks to the entire team and all my friends and family who brought be this way! Let's see what the rest of the season brings, comp climbing is quite the roller coaster ride.
