Uranostind & Langskavltind ridge traverse
Jotunheimen delivers again! Achim and me enjoyed a quick trip over the classic Uranostind traverse and connected it with the north ridge of Langeskavltind to make a fun outing with lots of ridge scrambling. Most of the travers can be done unroped but in a few spots care and testing for loose rock is needed, and since you’ll want a rope for the glacier anyhow one can running belay the spicier sections. Langeskavltinden north ridge can be easily soloed and is surprisingly solid. The descend over the debris and moraine fields is a bit tiring but not too long. Over all a recommended trip and I enjoyed finally having a view from the summit of Uranostind. Thanks!
